Peter Van den Eede graduated from the theater school of the Antwerp conservatory in 1987. He founded compagnie de KOE in 1989, together with Bas Teeken, and has been its artistic leader ever since. For his role in L’Homme au crâne rasé he was nominated for the Prix Louis d’Or / best actor. In 2005 he curated the Theater Aan Zee festival in Ostend. Peter appeared in several Flemish television- and film projects, a.o. the films Linkeroever and Man van staal, and the tv-series Terug naar Oosterdonk, De Smaak van De Keyser, de Zonen van Van As, Van Vlees en Bloed, Red Sonja and Achter de Feiten.
Willem de Wolf graduated in 1985 from the theater school in Amsterdam. In the same year he and Ton Kas founded the theater group Kas & de Wolf. Kas & de Wolf wrote/created about 15 pieces together. In 2002 they won the VSCD Mime prize for their play Our kind of people. When the subsidies were canceled in 2004 Willem de Wolf wrote a.o. the text Bazel for Dood Paard, and with mugmetdegoudentand he wrote Hannah & Martin together with Lineke Rijxman and Joan Nederlof.
His tekst Krenz the designated successor was nominated for the Taalunie theater writing prize in 2012. In so-called polycoproductions with tg STAN, Dood Paard and Maatschappij Discordia he created the plays Onomatopee, We have/haven’t read the book and the Famous. From 2004 to 2009 Willem de Wolf studied German language and culture at the University of Amsterdam. Since 2010, he is a part of the core group of de KOE.
Natali Broods graduated in 2000 from the Studio Herman Teirlinck in Antwerp. She played with the theater companies De Kakkewieten, Het Toneelhuis (Jan Decorte), and Lazarus, but mainly with tg STAN and Cie. de KOE.
As a film actress she played the lead in the film S (1997, directed by Guido Hendrickx) and in Anyway the Wind Blows (2002, directed by Tom Barman), for which she received the Joseph Plateauprize for Best Belgian film actress 2003. Aside from that she appeared in several other Flemish series and films, among which the succesfull films Someone else’s happiness (2005, Fien Troch), The Misfortunates (2009, Felix Van Groeningen), Waste Land (Pieter Van Hees, 2014) and Wim Vandekeybus’ Galloping Mind. For this film she received the Ensor prize for best female supporting role. More recently, she played the lead role in the film Façades (2017, Kaat Beels en Nathalie Basteyns) and roles in the tv series Tabula Rasa, De Infiltrant and Over Water.
